Nick is a professional software engineer and the Founder of Paleostock, Studio 252MYA, Earth Archives and Pteros. He has had a lifelong passion for paleontology and collected plant fossils as a child growing up in the Eastern Kentucky coal region.

Nick believes strongly that the Internet and art are the best tools for communicating the science of paleontology to the public. He works with creators around the world to bring fossils to life.

He studied Biology, Geology and Journalism at the University of Kentucky.
